COVID 19 Update
Updated information 30 March 2020

We want to keep you up-to-date on our contingencies and capacity here at Optometry On Osmond.

At the moment, the practice is open and functioning as usual albeit with heightened awareness of procedures and protocols.

If the time has come for your scheduled eye exam as recommended by our Optometrists, please be advised that we are employing recommended distancing measures as well as stringent hygiene protocols. We have enacted these precautions to maximise your safety, peace of mind and comfort whilst you are in our clinic.

As outlined by the Australian Government Department of Health on 29 March, health care settings are included in the "essential gatherings" list and as such are exempt from the more restrictive limits placed on gatherings of 3 or more people. However, with this government recommendation in mind, we would ask that, where practical, only the person to be examined attends the practice.

We equally understand if you need, or would rather, delay your visit to the practice. Although we may be stating the obvious, please delay your visit if you are unwell or are quarantined due to a government directive.

Please consider whether you have an updated pair of glasses or a sufficient supply of contact lenses to see you through a longer period than usual. The majority of our optical supplies can be shipped direct to you without the need for personal collection at the practice. Please contact us if you would like us to process an order for you.

Our contact details remain unchanged: phone 0883321444 and eyes@optometryonosmond.com
